Dragonfyre (2013) Survival Lesson

Dragonfyre movie poster, kneeling hero with sword holds shield aloft to block a dragon breathing fire on him as a line of orcs march past, in the background is a castle and more dragons

Survival Lesson: Randomly spraying a weapon in the direction of someone will almost never hit them. Learn how to actually shoot a gun if you carry one.

Synopsis: Orcs get slaughtered by a soldier who wields a magical machine-gun of infinite ammo and never-miss bullets.

Rating: 3/10. This movie had a chance to be pretty good. It was a fine story, the setting was good, the actors weren't bad, and the costuming of the orcs and evil witch were really pretty good, especially for a low budget movie. Unfortunately, the combat was abysmally bad, consisting primarily of the orcs just standing around waiting to be killed and the hero laying waste to them with a machine-gun that never runs out of bullets or ever misses even when, for example, being fired one-handed while riding a 4-wheeler. You can get away with that sort of thing for a while, especially if you do it with style like Schwarzenegger in Commando, but this was just very tedious and repetitive.
