The Wandering Earth (2016) Survival Lesson

Synopsis: Humanity unites to turn the Earth into a rocketship to escape the exploding sun.

Rating: 7.5/10. The world building is excellent in this movie. The costumes and machinery and detail of it all are amazing. The story itself is fairly standard disaster-fare (e.g. vehicles barely surviving buildings crashing around them), and the character development feels like incomplete thoughts, but it is entertaining and worth the watch.

Survival Lesson: If blowing up a planet doesn't cross your mind, then you aren't thinking big enough.
